Can the plastic in BalanceOil bottles contaminate the oil?
Since our oil is classified as food, there are very strict rules about plastic, etc., which we must of course follow. One of these rules is that the plastic in the bottle has no interaction with the oil / contents.
The bottle is PET-labeled and fulfills all requirements needed to have the stamp. We have various suppliers of PET bottles and all are inspected by authorities.
Some can be anxious about the element antimony (Sb) is leaking out of the plastic in the bottle. (an antimony substance is used in minute amounts in the production of the PET plastic.) We have tested our oils and they have zero antimony.
