What preservatives are in the HANZ+HEIDII products?

Preservatives primarily inhibit the development of microorganisms in cosmetic products. Without them, the expiry date of many products would be reached quickly after opening. They would spoil in a short time. Only by using preservatives can we ensure that the quality of our products is maintained over a long period of time.

We reproduce nature-identical preservatives, which occur in nature in the same composition, but cannot be obtained in the required quantity or quality. All preservative mixtures produced with these ingredients are approved by both organizations, with which they carry the label "meets ECOCERT requirements" or "meets COSMO requirements".

Permitted preservatives include the following substances:

• benzoic acid and its salts
• salicylic acid, and its salts
• sorbic acid and its salts
• benzyl alcohol
• dehydroacetic acid and their salts
• fatty alcohols from nature that are obtained through fermentation.
